Description
So, for those of you who haven't heard, I decided to take this month off. Was going to strictly avoid anything that felt like work and just chill for a month, then when I'm all rested up, finally start picking up some of the model commissions people have been wanting me to do.
Life had other plans though- not more than a few days into this vacation, I have to run to the ER with massive abdominal pain, turned out to be a gallbladder issue. I'm fine now, for the most part, though I feel a little too crummy to go out and do much of anything interesting, and basically my whole plans for this month were to stuff myself full of shitty food but instead now I'm living off of fruit and berries until I can get this damn thing yanked out. (High-fat meals can trigger gallbladder attacks).
This meant that my vacation was basically over. I figured I could sit around and be bored, or jump back into some work related stuff. Didn't want to get into any paid work though because I don't know what the future holds, could at any point have to go back to the ER or be scheduled for surgery or just feel too crappy to work for a while, and I didn't like the idea of having the extra mental overhead of owing someone money while I'm down for the count on top of everything else, so I instead decided to make a model. It's a fun, low stress creative outlet that I can pick at for five minutes here and there when I'm feeling alright and still feel like I'm making decent progress. While I had a few ideas for models of my own to make already, I couldn't really decide on one, none felt like what my roster needed so I instead turned to the Patreon folks and let them decide!
At every major creative decision I came across, I would take suggestions and/or create a poll and allow them to vote for it, usually with examples of what both options would look like. Out of all the species suggested, they went with a ferret girl. They chose a stylized/toony body over a realistic one, between small visible breasts and flat chested they chose the breasts, and chose fairly realistic colouring over something more wild. One of them also suggested she have glasses, which I think was a fantastic idea. At the end of the day, we ended up with what you see here, and I gotta say I'm pretty happy with the turn out! It was a fun little process for me, and I think we got a real good model out of it at the end.
Naming is still to be determined (gonna do a poll about it, fancy that) but in the meantime, we needed someone to give the new gal a taste and BFCT seemed like a good choice since everybody seems to like him so much.
