h4.Colour Test 5
Another quick throw away picture to toss some colours onto. Although I do rather like this one, to be honest. I decided after drawing the last picture with this fellow in it that I was a little disappointed in his chastity not being at all a part of the picture. So I whipped this up to allow us to better see what's really going on. :P
I took the picture off the stretcher a little too early so it warped a tiny bit this time, but nothing major. Just have to remember to leave it on a little longer next time. Also, I'm going to have to figure out a way to smooth the inking down a little or find something to replace it. The rougher paper makes the ink a lot rougher, which looks kinda bad. Now that I'm using watercolour paper and a lot thinner paint, it doesn't get smoothed over nearly as much as it used to. I'll figure that out though.
...yes I know his tail is huge, I needed something on the left side of the page to balance it out a bit and I was being lazy. x3
Other than those few issues, I'm actually fairly fond of this one overall. Not too bad for a quickie...
