Description
I was in the mood to do something with Isaac again, because I really rather like how he turned out and I like crows in general and I dunno, felt like we needed to see him some more. For no particular reason I paired him up with Dominique; mostly 'cause she's new and I also like her and we need to see her some more too! So, here's Dominique and Isaac having a little after-hours session at the bar.
Blender really tried hard to fuck me over on this one- I spent several hours doing the whole animation and everything seemed fine the whole time right up to the end, so I saved, fired up a command-line render and closed out of blender- only for the render to immediately crash out with a seg-fault error. So I try to open up the file to poke around and see what was causing it, only to be entirely unable to open it. I tried older versions of blender, I tried back ups and earlier auto saves, nothing worked. Somehow everything surrounding this file was entirely corrupted.
I briefly considered setting everything and then myself on fire, but then I had a hail-mary idea, opening up a new blend file and importing everything from the corrupted one into the new one and rendering there. It proceeded to render the whole animation flawlessly.
Fuck you a little blender, but at least it worked I guess.
