Damn, you all read me like a book. I thought I was being clever by introducing that little 'cheating' subplot but the vast majority of the comments were like "Nah, she's probably cool with it". She is, indeed, cool with it. It turns out, while I may not have a degradation kink but still find it fun to write assholes doing degradey things, there's no part of cheating I find particularly fun at all. So from the moment I conceived this wife scenario I pretty much decided that it was going to be a very loving and nurturing open relationship, where the fox sometimes goes off with other meaner partners to get the abuse he craves. The wolf wife (and it had to be a wolf of course, foxes and wolves go together like peanut butter and jelly) is just too darn nice to be mean like that. And he's okay with that, 'cause he likes that about her, even if he still wants a little abuse in his life on the side now and then.
Calling this a bonus panel may have been overambitious perhaps, I've downgraded it to a bonus doodle. I only ever intended it to be a quick little sketch. Just to show off the flipside of this foxy coin. I hope it amuses you!
