This is this month's Patreon funded painting! The prompt I was given this month: "Gagged & hog-tied wolf thrashing futilely as he’s milked and forced to drink his own cum in front of an eager audience."
Alright, let's not beat around the bush on this one- this isn't my best picture ever. I've been doing a lot of traditional art for the list commissions lately so I decided to try my hand at digital art again for this month just as a way to take a break, but I wanted to try out a few other new things as well. Primarily, I wanted to experiment with a style of colouring where you start by making the picture entirely in black and white and then add a colour layer over top of it when finished. The advantage to this is supposedly that it lets you get your values (value being how light or dark everything is) just right before even worrying about colour, which is good because values are the most important part of a picture. If the values are good, the picture should pretty much look good no matter what colours you put on top of it, and it's a bit easier to focus on those values when that's all you're doing.
But, as it turns out I haven't done enough value studies because even in black and white my values kinda blow. Then my colour layer overtop of it wasn't exactly stellar either.
At the same time I decided to experiment with a new art program (krita), so struggling with that while also struggling with the painting certainly didn't make my life any easier. Finally, I also wanted to play around a bit with a slightly looser, more textural style. But (again) since I don't know what I'm doing, instead of looking stylistic and interesting it all just kinda looks dirty and messy. Oh well. x3
I think I managed to wrestle it into an okay place at the end here; it's not my best work ever, but I don't think it's my worst either. The idea is super hot on it's own which hopefully carries it for me a little bit, and I figure with a little comicification thrown on top it just about gets there as a fun picture, even if it's maybe not the most artistic. I do hope y'all like it- let me know what you think!
