Balance
A little doodle I decided to whip up since I don't have much to do while the current animation renders anyway. Actually, it was inspired a little bit by said animation, if only indirectly.
I noticed while animating that I tend to ignore tails when it comes to considering a character's balance. It kind of feels like, unless you specifically want to draw attention to it (as in with this picture), you generally want the human shaped part of the character to move and balance the way a human character would, and just kind of ignore the tail for the most part. If a humanoid character moves in a way they only can because of the extra weight of the tail it really stands out, so is best left avoided, unless you specifically want to draw attention to that extra weight. At least, that's how it seems to me so far based on my admittedly limited animation experience.
But that got me curious and made me want to do something where I specifically take the weight of the tail into account. It made me think of a demonstration I saw, a picture where someone had a big dino-style tail strapped on and in order to balance out had to lean all the way forward, which is basically how bipedal dinos bodies worked. So I took that kind of pose as a jumping off point and then porn'd it up because that's what I do. Lizard Slave seemed like a good candidate because she got that big heavy tail and is the type to strike such dramatic poses. So I doodled this up and slapped some colour on it and voila! Perhaps she's the centerpiece for some kinky party and if she stays up there long enough she gets rewarded. Or avoids punishment, at least.
Anyway, that's a lot of explanation for an honestly fairly shitty doodle, but I couldn't think of a quicker way to spell it out. Some day I'll have to sit down and actually learn proper digital art, but for now I hope you like it. :P
