Chapter 1

Welcome to the world of Pokmon! These creatures with extraordinary abilities populate the harsh and unforgiving land. Mystery dungeons lay within the deepest reaches of the wilds. Danger lies around every corner, and the consequences for every action are severe. This is the story of a Human turned Pokmon, a hero destined to save the world.

The mid-summer sun warmed the land. Mountains rose far into the distance, looming over the quaint forest valley below. Bird Pokmon flew through blue skies, their calls filling the air with rhythm and melody. Below the drama, a young creature stirred.

What happened?... I feel as though someone is calling me...

The creature woke, pushing himself up. He wobbled, barely catching himself in time.

Ugh... my head! I need water.

The sound of a roaring waterfall guided his paws. He knelt along the bank of a river, the water was clear and cold. He took his fill, gulping down the water enthusiastically. The water, so unequalled in taste, excited the small creature. He drank heartily, stirring the mirror like surface.

Water has never tasted so good!

The water calmed, and the creature relaxed. It went for another drink, but stopped itself abruptly before breaking the surface. There, in the water, his reflection smoothed out. A Riolu stared back at him, making his heart flutter and jump.

W-wait... Whaaat!! This cant be! I-Im human! Im not a Pokmon!!

The Riolu examined himself in a panic that only got worse as he roamed his body. His paws ran along his snout and up his ears. They were short and triangular, sensitive to most sounds emanating from the forest. Below those, two fleshy organs drooped along each side of his head. They were just as sensitive, making him shiver at a single touch. Something moved behind him, a gently sway. He guided his paws around to his back end.

I have a tail?!

He left it alone, his gaze moving down his belly. His face erupted into a blush as his eyes fell upon his black sheath. It was small, his balls much the same.

Its true! Im a Pokmon!

The nearby bushes rustled and shook, making the Riolus ears twitch and scan instinctively. Out of the foliage came three Beheeyem. Their cries, akin to a mechanical click and whirl, sounded loudly throughout the clearing. They stretched their arms towards the Riolu, their hands aglow with three distinctively coloured orbs that flicked and flashed.

The Beheeyem circled the Riolu. A twitch in his sensory lobes made him duck, barely evading a thrown punch. Another twitch made him look towards another attack, but he was too slow to evade. The powerful blow sent the Riolu tumbling through the grass. He sputtered and spit, his arms shaking as he struggled to push himself back to his feet.

W-why are they attacking me?!

The Riolu rubbed his cheek as more clicks and mechanical screeches sounded from the strange Pokmon. For a brief moment, their bodies were surrounded with a red glowing aura. It sent a shiver down his spine, as if every instinct in his body screamed for him to run. His paws took to the dirt on their own. He ran for the trees, the Beheeyem hot on his tail.

Past thorn bushes and thickets, he pushed his way deeper into the forest. The trees were sparse, but the undergrowth was thick. Behind him he could hear the Beheeyem in pursuit. The sounds of their whirling clicks sped his paws. He took a corner and spotted a figure in the distance.

Hello! Help me!

Without stopping, the young Riolu plowed right into the figure. He fell backwards with a pained bark, his paws clutching at his head.

Are you okay? Whats all this fuss about?

The Riolu looked up slowly, his chest heaving with ragged breaths. His eyes slowly widened as he looked upon the owner of the voice. It was a Pokmon, a Nuzleaf.

A-a Pokmon talked to me!?

The Nuzleaf looked confused for a moment, but then his face grew dark. He looked over the Riolus, eyeing down the pursuing Beheeyem.

Well, of course I do! Did you think I was one of them aggressive Pokmon?

N-no, I just... Im being attacked by these three Pokmon...

The Nuzleaf placed his hands on the Riolus shoulders, keeping the young boy calm and still.

Youre alright now. Im Nuzleaf. Whats your name?

Time seemed to freeze for the Riolu. His thoughts wandered, coming blank dozens of times. His heart pounded, and his eyes teared up.

My name? Do I remember my name?... It was...

Twilight.

At least I remembered that...

Nice to meet you! Im Nuzleaf.

The sounds of the Beheeyem grew louder, almost angry and impatient.

But we mustnt hang around! Nuzleaf said quickly. They look like they mean business. Follow me back to my village. Youll be safe there.

Twilight followed him without a second thought. As strange as it was to talk to a Pokmon, his fear overcame that worry. It was difficult for him to keep up with Nuzleaf. His legs felt heavy and wobbly, and his gait suffered for it.

The village is just up ahead...

Nuzleaf stopped abruptly, making Twilight smack into him. He stared into the entrance of a dark tunnel, the atmosphere going cold and mysterious.

Thats one of them Mystery Dungeons. We cant go back... Well have to go through.

Twilights fear resurfaced. The gloomy tunnel into darkness made his sensory lobes twitch uncomfortably. Nuzleaf took the first steps inside, and the sounds of the pursuing Beheeyem spurred Twilight onward. He walked under the leafy canopy, staying behind Nuzleaf. The trees slowly began to thin out as they walked deeper down the narrow path. The darkness faded, replaced by rays of light filtering through the foliage above.

Stay close, Twilight. There are wild Pokmon in these Mystery Dungeons. Theyre beyond reason, scared and aggressive. Theyll attack us on sight.

Twilight gulped and nodded nervously.

Its hard to track a Pokmon through a mystery dungeon. The dungeons are constantly changing, nothing is ever the same.

Wont we get lost?

Not if you keep moving. Theres a way out at the end. You just need to find it.

Nuzleaf led the way down another path. It slowly opened up to a grassy meadow, filled with flowers and even a single sleeping Pokmon.

Quiet... Nuzleaf whispered, his paw jutting out to stop Twilight from going any further.

See him? The Paras? Asleep in the grass. If we get too close hell wake up. Watch carefully. Ill teach you how to attack.

Nuzleaf hurried forward with a deep breath. His body glowed black, and he lunged forward with dizzying speed. His fist landed square against the sleeping bug Pokmon, instantly knocking it out. Nuzleaf exhaled and turned around with a smile.

See? Not so hard. You just need to focus and breath. Draw out your power.

Twilight looked on in awe. He couldnt believe how fast the Nuzleaf moved in that split moment.

Youre a fightin type. I can teach you force palm. Its a powerful move, so you must use it wisely.

Twilight, having momentarily forgotten the pursuing Beheeyem, nodded eagerly.

Please! Thank you, Mr. Nuzleaf.

Youve got good manners! Ill happily teach you.

Nuzleaf positioned Twilight into a fighting stance. He spread his legs and guided his paws in front of him.

Good. Now punch forward.

Twilight threw a punch, but nothing interesting happened.

Did I do it wrong?

No, no. That was very good. Now you must pull the power from within. Breath deep, concentrate. Bring your hidden power to your palm as you strike.

Twilight concentrated, breathing deep. A powerful blue aura surround his palm as he jabbed forward. The aura dissipated into an expanding cloud of energy.

I did it!

Twilights fingers tingled with a power he had never thought possible. It exhilarated him, filled him with confidence. His tail wagged happily behind him, a queer feeling, yet one that felt natural.

Very good, Twilight! If you had struck anything but air, you would have done some serious damage.

Nuzleaf pushed the young Riolu to the lead.

I think youre ready to show off what you learned. Ill make sure you arent hurt.

O-okay.

Twilight took his first steps slow and careful. Nuzleaf followed close behind, letting the young boy find his way through the Mystery Dungeon. The air felt warm and misty. The trees swayed in a gentle breeze, and the wonderful scents of the forest tickled Twilights sensitive nose. A strange, bitter scent was carried on the wind.

Hey! Look at that. Its an Oran berry. Why dont you go and take it? Its alright. Items arent owned by anyone in these Mystery Dungeons.

Twilight spotted the berry. It lay in the grass, untouched and unspoiled. He broke away from Nuzleaf to pick it up.

Better hold onto that for later. Theyre good at healing.

Twilight sniffed the blue skin, his tongue taking an experimental lick. It tasted bitter, almost sour, but it instantly gave him a small energy boost; it only lasted a mere moment.

It doesnt taste very good.

No, but itll help you regain health and energy. Keep it handy. You might need it in this Dungeon.

Twilight nodded and took the lead again. The path ahead stayed narrow, then opened up into a bigger room. The pattern became obvious to the young boy. He was slowly beginning to understand these dungeons.

Ahead, a fluffy and feathery mass lay snoring in the grass. A Doduo. Twilight stopped fast in his tracks, only to be pushed ahead by Nuzleaf.

This fight is yours. Ill keep any eye out.

Twilight stepped forward on shaking legs. He gulped nervously, but he found the courage to straighten up and take a fighting stance. His paws scuffled against the ground, rousing the sleeping Doduo. He hopped backwards with a panicked bark as it hopped to its feet and squawked loudly. The bird pokemon charged forward. Twilights sensory lobes sent a chill down his spine. Time slowed, and the Doduo began to glow with a red aura. He stepped to the side, easily dodging the incoming blow.

Good dodge! Nuzleaf called out from the sidelines. Now try what I taught you!

Twilight hopped backwards, creating space between him and the angry bird Pokmon. He concentrated, his sensory lobes lifting up as his body surrounded itself in blue aura. He cupped his paws instinctively, letting the energy grow between his palms. The aura grew rapidly into a sphere, and with a thrust of his paws, he sent the orb of energy towards the Doduo. It met his target head on, blasting it to the ground unconscious.

Twilight could not believe his eyes. He stared dumbstruck at the display of his own powers.

Excellent work, Twilight! You even learned the move Aura Sphere all on your own.

Twilight beamed, his tail wagging with pride. After a moment of celebration, they once again took to the narrow, labyrinth-like tunnels with Nuzleaf following close behind. Fresh air began to swirl around them, promising a nearby exit. Twilight followed his twitching nose to a darkened tunnel of leaf and bush.

Is this the exit? Twilight asked.

I think it very well might be!

Twigs and branches snapped to their left. A gut feeling of terrifying dread consumed Twilight, and his sensory organs lifted, warning him of impending danger.

Look out!!

Nuzleaf turned just in time. His widening eyes glowed in the reflection of a great column of fire. He pushed his arms outwards, conjuring a wide shield of blue energy. The flames engulfed the shield, deflecting harmlessly off and away.

A gruff Charmeleon stepped into the clearing. His flaming tail swayed behind him with every step, and his claws were poised and ready to attack.

Looky here. A Nuzleaf and a little boy that obviously isnt his. He said with a laughing snarl.

Be gone! I wish not to fight.

No? Then youre here to do business? How much for the boy?

The Charmeleon eyed the boy hungrily, his gaze drifting up and down the young boys body. Twilight suddenly became very aware of his own nudity. He covered himself with a growing blush, causing the Charmeleon to growl.

Nuzleaf stepped in front of Twilight, shielding him from the Charmeleons sight.

He is not for sale.

The Charmeleon huffed a big cloud of black smoke.

Thats too bad. He looks like hed be a tight fuck. Might only last two or three times at first, but I would have trained him...

The Charmeleon took a few steps forward, only to be cut off by a bladed magical leaf embedding itself in the grass at his feet.

Your filthy paws will not touch this boy.

The Charmeleon snorted and his muzzle began to glow a bright orange. Nuzleaf pushed Twilight out of the way as the Charmeleon unleashed another swirl of fire. It blew past them, making Twilight squeal and bark. Nuzleaf jumped forward at a dizzying speed, connecting a punch against the Charmeleons face. The fire Pokmon was easily tossed across the clearing, his body tumbling and skidding across the grass. The Charmeleon pushed himself to his feet as he spit blood.

Not bad, for a grass type.

Without warning, the Charmeleon charged forward with speed comparable to that of Nuzleafs. It caught the grass Pokmon off guard, and his eyes widened as he watched the powerful, metal-like claws smash into his body. The wind was torn from his lungs as he was launched backwards into the dirt. The claws had slashed through his chest, and blood dripped and splattered against the grass below.

Nuzleaf!

Twilight made as if to run to his wounded friends side, but Nuzleaf held up a paw.

No! Stay back.

Twilight teared up at the sight of the terrible wound across Nuzleafs chest. He felt helpless, and worst of all, terrified. Nuzleaf pushed himself to his feet, his hands cloaking themselves in black auras before his body vanished.

Twilights heart raced. He couldnt keep up with the terrifying speed and ferocity of the two battling Pokmon. They clashed head to head, their wounds not even slowing them down as they traded powerful blows. Fire versus grass, uneven match up for Nuzleaf, but he came out on top. The Charmeleon was bashed away into the bushes, where he scrabbled off into the depths.

Nuzleaf stood high on adrenaline, his chest rising and falling with laboured breaths. It wasnt long before his wounds caught up to him. He winced as he fell to the ground nearly unconscious. Twilight rushed to his side, his paws frantic, unsure what to do.

Ooh, Nuzleaf! W-what do I do?

Nuzleaf coughed, barely able to speak at all.

O-oran B-berry...

Twilight almost forgot about the berry he had clutched in his paws. He quickly pressed it against Nuzleafs muzzle. The hard and bitter exterior was easily bitten into by the grass Pokmon. He ate the whole thing, his wounds slowly healing with each bite.

Wow...

Twilight watched as Nuzleafs slashes fizzled and smoked. The wounds healed without so much as a scar left behind. Nuzleaf pushed himself back to his feet and stretched his arms out.

Thanks! You really saved me. I would have fainted for sure.

Are you really alright? That looked painful! Twilight said as he roamed Nuzleafs body with his paws.

I am a bit sore. The Oran Berry doesnt heal fully, but Ill be right as rain soon, dont you worry.

Twilight tilted his head skeptically, but he couldnt find an explanation on his own.

The Village is close. I cant afford another battle like that. Ill take the lead, keep close.

Twilight nodded and followed behind the noticeably slow Nuzleaf. He walked with a new limp, a subtle one, something the grass type was obviously trying to hide from the Riolu. They pushed through the exit of dense foliage, entering into the normal forest once more.

The going was slow, but they made good time across the woodland. They came to a large hill overlooking a lake valley at the base of a lonely mountain. Nuzleaf climbed to the top and Twilight clambered up behind him.

See that lake? Thats where Serene Village is. Just on the western shore.

Twilight followed Nuzleafs outstretched hand. Sure enough, a village sat near the shoreline. A long and winding dirt path cut along the shore and up into the forest. He followed what he could see of it all the way back up to the hill they stood upon.

Wont be long now. Just gotta follow this path down the hillside.

Excitement grew within the young Riolu. His tail wagged happily behind him as he walked in line with Nuzleaf. The path cut by the generations of paws made the journey much easier. The forest began to thin, and the lake came into view. They followed the sandy beaches all the way up to the entrance of the village.

You can stay with me, for now. Nuzleaf began, as he led the way over a wooden bridge. A young kid like you cant stay out alone. Not while those Pokmon are still after you.

T-thank you, Nuzleaf.

The village came into full view, stealing Twilights attention. He looked in awe around at the many unique buildings that dotted the little town. His pace slowed, unknowingly to Nuzleaf who kept on ahead. The patter of small paws went unnoticed by the distracted Riolu. He collided with a mysterious Pokmon, sending them both tumbling to the dirt.

Ooh, Im sorry! I didnt mean too!

Twilight held a paw to his aching head, and his eyes fluttered open. His face erupted into a blush as he stared into the tiny, underdeveloped pussy of a young Emolga. She lay on top of him, straddled, with her rump nearly pressed against his snout. He couldnt help but take in involuntary sniffs of her exposed sex. It smelled wonderful to the young boy, the intoxicating aroma sending an arousing shiver down his body. His cock began to peek from his sheath, the tip visible to the Emolga girl currently on his belly. She blushed even harder than the Riolu.

Before the two cubs could embarrass themselves further, Nuzleaf stepped in. He grabbed hold of the little Emolga, tossing her to the side. She chittered in protest, but caught herself easily with her wings. Nuzleaf shooed her away, making her run behind a nearby house.

Youre far too young to be thinking of making a family. Nuzleaf nodded down to Twilights peaking cock. Id say she is only seven, and youre not much older. Best wait till you grow up a bit.

Twilight blushed furiously and covered himself up with a paw. He had been driven to arousal by a little girl. It felt so dirty, yet so right for the young Riolu. He shook it off, falling back in step with Nuzleaf who led him through the rest of the town. Nuzleafs house was quaint, though larger than Twilight expected. It looked like some sort of acorn, which made sense to the young Riolu, considering Nuzleafs type.

You can have the spare room, Nuzleaf said. It aint much, but itll do you.

Twilight stepped inside, taking a look around as Nuzleaf stood nearby. The room was of fair size, with stacks of Nuzleafs stuff lining the walls.

If youre staying with me, youll be going to school. Nuzleaf said as he pushed a box to the side. Youll learn a lot about the world and about being a Pokmon.

Nuzleaf went silent for a second, as if in deep thought.

I suppose Ill have to adopt you. Youre on your own, right? I guess thatll be fine, but youll have to call me Dad from now on. Okay?

As strange as it was to the young Riolu, he nodded in agreement.

Great! Ill let you get settled here. I have to go to the school and make sure youre able to attend right away. Dont leave the house, ya hear? Not under any circumstances!

Okay, D-dad.

Nuzleaf beamed happily and gave his new son a rub between his ears.

Ill be right back.

Twilight watched as his new father left. His tail swayed, and his paws felt twitchy. He was already bored. The bland room had nothing of interest in it. Only 5 minutes passed before a shadow flickered across his window. He jumped backwards with a bark, his paws outstretched ready for a fight.

W-whos there! Twilight called out, his paws flickering with aura.

Its me! Called a familiar voice. The Emolga you bumped into! Come outside! I want to show you around.

She disappeared, leaving Twilight alone once more. He gulped nervously, his cock twitching at the thought of the young female. Against his better judgment, he left the house.

Hey! The Emolga called as she nearly ran into him again. We didnt get to introduce ourselves. Im Kutsa! Whats your name?

T-twilight...

Thats a pretty name! Welcome to Serene Village, Twilight! Theres not much here, but Ill be happy to show you around.

I dont know if I should. Nuzleaf said-

Pshaw! Who cares what he said! Come on!

Kutsa grabbed Twilights paw and pulled him down the pathway. He was a stammering mess, his face awash with a red blush. Her paw was soft as silk, a delightful airy velvet.

Ill show you the town square! Though, it is more of a circle...

Twilight could barely keep up with the Emoglas pace. She led him over the bridge and back down another path towards a dirt clearing. Stalls and buildings surrounded it, and paths going north and east branched off from the main.

Weve got most of what any Pokmon could need! Kutsa said, as she tugged Twilight along. Over there is the deposit box. Store any item you want! I dont know how it works, but I think its magical.

Twilight had little time to examine the strange looking box before Kutsa pulled him to the next thing.

And heres Kecleons shop! You can buy just about any item from him!

A Kecleon stood behind a wooden bench. Behind him, a shelf of assorted items were protected by a large canvas roof.

Over there, Kutsa said, dragging Twilight with her. Thats Hawlucha. He teaches some really cool moves!

Before Twilight could even look in the direct of Hawluchas shop, Kutsa began dragging him again. She ignored everything else in the plaza, making a beeline for the east exit.

Hey! Deerling! Whats going on?

Twilight could sense the sudden distress in Kutsas voice. The tour was cut short as they came to a stop in front of a young Deerling. Beside her, a Shelmet coward under her stern gaze.

This punk and his stupid friend Pancham sent Goomy into a Mystery Dungeon alone.

Kutsas eyes blazed with anger. She jumped forward and pushed Shelmet to the ground.

Where is he!

W-wait!! W-we didnt mean for him to actually do it!! He wanted to!

Youll show us the way there right now, or else!

The cowering Shelmet nodded and hurried towards the east path. Deerling and Kutsa shared a look, and the young Emolga grabbed hold of Twilight.

Youre coming, too. Ill need your help to find Goomy.

Twilight gulped nervously, but he followed without much hesitation. Despite what Nuzleaf had told him, he continued onward, paw in paw with his new Emolga friend.
